This is a great article. It is very important to train your dog so that you will enjoy your pet more and you will be closer to your dog.

Yes! Thank you, Greta, for putting into words something that I've tried to explain to the owners in my classes over and over. One of the hardest things I've tried to do in class is teach the owners why what I'm doing works and what they're doing doesn't, and what the difference is. And often it's something as tiny as my hand was an inch closer or further from the dog's nose, or my body was angled five degrees away from the dog's body. Unfortunately, when I try to explain it comes out sounding like, "because I'm magic, that's why" instead of like an honest, logical explanation.
